Priority Records

Priority Records is a record label known for artists including NWA, Jay-Z & Snoop Dogg – based in Hollywood, California.

This is a custom, responsive WordPress website, developed whilst working for as a web developer The Creative Corporation.

The website enables the record label to promote their artists and display videos, Spotify streams and receive submissions.

The CMS is a fully customised WordPress installation that allows the user to add content such as images, artists, latest releases and videos at any time. Also, the website is fully responsive, giving a great experience across mobile, tablet and desktop.

As a web developer and music fan, working on this project was an honour. The record label have managed many great artists so it definitely influenced my choice of music whilst building the website.

The website promotes new releases which can then be purchased and streamed on many platforms including Spotify and Apple Music and also allows users to submit their own music for consideration by the record label.

Additionally, the site tells the story of Priority Records throughout its history, from the beginnings of hip-hop and rap to the modern day.
