Urbanauts is an architecture practice in London, who I worked on a WordPress site for a few years ago.
The company also has a sustainability consultancy which ensures that projects are environmentally friendly, energy efficient and comply with the Code for Sustainable Homes.
I undertook all the web design and web development aspects of this build.
The site is a custom WordPress build which was made to display all of the company’s work across London and abroad.
I added a customised before-and-after slider on the projects pages. This allows the company to upload floor plans of the site before they undertook the work and then show show that changed over the course of the project.
I undertook all aspects of the web design and web development on this project.
The site won a Web Guru of the Day award which was very pleasing and a testament to all the hard work and creativity that went into the website.
The company undertake high-end refurbishments and construction of properties across London and in a few other countries around the world.
The web design had to reflect the fact that the company’s work was of an extremely high quality and could be relied upon for large-scale projects.
With this in mind, I created the Projects page in order to showcase their extensive archive of completed projects. These projects comprise thumbnails which can be clicked to reveal the full detail of each property including location, images, a brief description and the floorplans.
This detail was appreciated by Urbanauts and gave them the ability to add a lot of detail about each property without the page becoming cluttered.
This site requires very little updates from a web developer and is growing with each project that the company completes.
More of my projects can be viewed here.
